La formation rwandaise de RSSB Tigers a empoché son ticket pour les Finals 8 en battant Johannesburg Giants (102-89), hier mercredi, à la SunBet Arena de Pretoria. En lever de rideau, Petro de Luanda s’est offert Nairobi City Thunder. Ce vendredi, on aura deux affiches : Nairobi City Thunder – Al Ahly Ly et Petro de Luanda – Dar City.
Le RSSB Tigers continue sa marche victorieuse. Emmené par le duo Leonard Craig Randall II (39 pts) et Mangok Mathiank (32 pts), le club rwandais a infligé à Johannesburg Giants sa 3ème défaite de rang. Les Tigers (6 pts +22) se qualifient pour les Finals 8, prévus chez eux, à Kigali, du 22 au 31 mai.
Champion 2024, Petro de Luanda s’est remis de sa défaite contre RSSB Tigers (78-82). Les Angolais ont corrigé Nairobi City Thunder (97-70) et confortent leur 3ème place.
